Holiday Oberau in Austria

Oberau is the main village of the Wilschönau. What immediately stands out is the baroque church of Oberau, this more than 250 year old church is also called the Wildschönauer Dom. This is because the church is so large that it is one of the largest rural churches in Tyrol. Oberau is a very elongated village that consists of several parts. For example, above the actual village you will find the village part Roggenboden. Further on towards Auffach is the village part Mühltal. Since 2021 the Dragental in Oberau opened its doors. In the Drachental you will find the summer toboggan run "Alpine coaster Wilschönau", with a length of 2 km it is one of the most modern of its kind.
